Bachelor of Physical Education generally known as B.P.Ed is a professional course that prepares teachers for physical education in classes and for conducting physical education and sports activities in school. It is designed to integrate the study of childhood, social context of physical education, subject knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, the aim of physical education and communication skills.

This course is divided into modules. Since this course is spread over a period of two years, therefore, we follow the semester system of evaluation. The programme comprises of compulsory and optional theory as well as practical courses and compulsory school internship. Student must have 75% attendance in each course for appearing the examination. Students who have 74% to 65% of attendance shall apply for condonation in the prescribed form with the prescribed fee.
Students who have 64% to 50% of attendance shall apply for condonation in the prescribed form with the prescribed fee along with the Medical Condition Certificate. Students who have below 50% of attendance are not eligible to appear for the examination.
An academic year is divided into two semesters. Each semester will consist of 17-20 weeks of academic work equivalent to 100 actual teaching days. The odd semester may be scheduled from May/ June to November/December and even semester from November/December to May/June. The institution shall work for a minimum of 36 working hours in a week (five to six days a week). There shall be at least 200 working days per year exclusive of admission and examination process etc.
This program is predominantly assessed through, class test, seminar, quiz, assignment, attendance, theoretical exam papers and practical & teaching classes. The internal component of every module compromises of 30% and external compromises of 70%. To pass the examination in any semester the candidate must obtain an overall score of 40% which is strictly required.
In order to meet the academic entry requirement for this programme candidates should have a minimum of 50% in graduation or post-graduation in any sports-related discipline. Students also have to appear in Bundelkhand University entrance exams in order to apply. We will only receive the application after Bundelkhand University entrance exams are given by the candidate.
Admission shall be made as per the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination or in the entrance examination by any other selection process as per the policy of the state government or Bundelkhand university.
Our tuition fee is in accordance with the Bundelkhand University guideline. The college shall change only such fee as prescribed by the State Government or Bundelkhand university concerned in accordance with the provision of NCTE regulation 2002 and shall not charge in any way the donation and capitation fee etc. from the student.
Our college is just a medium through which the government of Uttar Pradesh and Bundelkhand University provide scholarships to our students. We in no manner or force influence their decision on scholarship.
Amrit college does not provide scholarships to its students.
