The full form of B.Sc is Bachelor of Science. B.Sc is an extremely popular undergraduate course that students pursue right after their class 12th. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) is a 3-year undergraduate degree offered by our college. The course is considered as a foundation course for students who want to make their career in the field of Science. It is offered in a variety of Science subjects at a majority of colleges in India.

Bachelor of science is usually of 3 years' duration. We follow the semester system of evaluation.
Bachelor of science allows a student to study a combination of 5 subjects. Students have to select 1 stream out of 2 which we offer, therefore mathematics and biology stream. There are 2 to 3 compulsory minor paper in every semester in which students have to pass. Each stream has 3 compulsory subjects which the student have to study throughout their 1st and 2nd year but in the final year, one has to only choose 2 core subjects out of 3. The student must have 75% attendance in each course for appearing the examination. Students who have 74% to 65% of attendance shall apply for condonation in the prescribed form with the prescribed fee.
Students who have 64% to 50% of attendance shall apply for condonation in the prescribed form with the prescribed fee along with the Medical Condition Certificate. Students who have below 50% of attendance are not eligible to appear for the examination.
This program is predominantly assessed through, class tests, seminar, quiz, assignment, attendance, theoretical exam papers and practical. The internal component of every module compromises of 25% to 30% and external compromises of 70% to 75%. To pass the examination in any semester the candidate must obtain an overall score of 50% which is strictly required.
The eligibility criteria for a B.Sc course specify that candidates should have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board. Apart from this, some colleges also specify that aspirants should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks at their Class 12 level in order to be eligible to pursue a B.Sc. course offered to them.
Our tuition fee is in accordance with the Bundelkhand University guideline. The college shall charge only such fee as prescribed by the State Government or Bundelkhand university concerned in accordance with the provision of Bundelkhand University and shall not charge in any way the donation and capitation fee etc. from the student.
Our college is just a medium through which the government of Uttar Pradesh and Bundelkhand University provide scholarships to our students. We in no manner influence their decision on scholarship.
Amrit college does not provide scholarships to its students.
Depending on their respective subjects, B.Sc graduates can find jobs in various sectors such as educational institutes, healthcare industry, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industry, chemical industry, research firms, testing laboratories, wastewater plants, oil industry, and the list continues. However, it is advisable that BSc students first complete their M.Sc degree and then lookout for a job. - Research Scientist: A research scientist is responsible for undertaking as well as analyzing information obtained from laboratory-based experiments and investigations. A research scientist may work for government labs, specialist research organizations and environmental organizations.
- Scientific Assistant: A scientific assistant is a professional who provides complete support to the scientist in research. A scientific assistant is also responsible for performing and managing various administrative tasks.
- Treasury Specialist: A treasury specialist is responsible for helping organizations increase profitability by assessing their periodic liquidity needs and investing excess cash in capital markets.
- Market Research Analyst: A market research analyst researches and gathers data to help a company market its products or services. An analyst helps a company determine its position in the market by researching its competitors and analyzing its sales, prices, etc.
- Quality Control Manager: A quality control manager ensures that products of a particular company meet set quality and efficiency standards. The manager plans direct and coordinates quality assurance programmes and also formulates various quality control policies.
- Statistician: A statistician gathers different numerical data of a company and then displays it, thereby helping them to analyze quantitative data and spot trends.
- Teacher: A Science teacher is typically involved in tasks such as preparing lesson-plans, evaluating student performances and teaching through lectures and technology.
- Technical Writer: A technical writer writes articles and prepares instruction manuals and other supporting documents to communicate technical information easily.
- Lab Chemist: A lab chemist analyses chemicals and creates new compounds that are useful in different aspects of human life. Research and testing are two crucial job responsibilities of a lab chemist.
